Another exciting addition to the Bayhill team is our new veterinary technician Jennifer Picinich. Jennifer is a Bay Area native. She was born on Alameda island and grew up free range in the foot hills of Mt.Diablo. Her parents supported her horse habit from a young age and she took every riding opportunity that was handed to her. As a child she was a pony club member which planted the seed for a love of jumping. During her college career Jennifer competed on the Centenary College IHSA Hunt Seat Team, as well as the Hunter/Jumper Team, and the IHSA Western Team. In her free time she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biology and a minor in Equine Studies. Jennifer discovered her love for equine sports medicine while interning with Dr. Michael Fugaro of Long Valley NJ. She decided to begin pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, and has returned to the Bay Area to escape the east coast winters.
